COPE Program
CBT-Based Support for Teens & Young Adults: The COPE Program
Creating Opportunities for Personal Empowerment (COPE) is a structured, evidence-based program rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). It’s designed to help adolescents and young adults understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected — and how to use that insight to improve emotional health, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with more confidence.
Who Is It For?
The COPE Program is ideal for:
Teens struggling with depression or anxiety
Young adults facing life transitions or school stress
Youth with low self-esteem or emotional dysregulation
Clients who may not yet be ready for trauma processing (like EMDR)
What Teens & Families Learn:
How to reframe negative thinking patterns
Emotional regulation and mindfulness techniques
Goal-setting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Confidence in communicating needs and managing stress
How It’s Delivered:
COPE sessions are delivered individually, tailored to each client’s pace and maturity. We incorporate workbooks, discussions, and skills practice in a supportive, stigma-free environment.
Offered both in person in Dallas and virtually across Texas.
When young people understand how their thoughts shape their experience, they gain the power to shape their lives
